Rich and Joan Schnadig, and their custom framing store Princeton, have been a part of the Highland Park community through Princeton Frame for almost 40 years.
After learning custom framing while serving as a Recreation Specialist for the Army at Fort Sheridan, Rich started his own retail picture framing and art gallery business out of his home. They experienced booming growth at their first location inside of Lakeside Glass and, roughly two years later, expanded into their current space on 1st Street.
Princeton Frame has stood as a hub for gallery and art events over the years, playing home to highly skilled local artists and printmakers. Their background in fine arts and creative display secures them as a resource for many prominent collectors, corporations, and local families seeking to frame and display their artwork. Joan and Rich feel strongly about serving the Highland Park and surrounding communities, “As artists and craftsmen ourselves we bring a fresh take on fine art collecting and creative display. These lifelong skills afford us much trust and appreciation from our neighbors and art community.”
